Friday Night Lights

Up until this year Jonathan has had to coach football in addition to his head job as basketball coach-- that's life in a small town for ya! But now that he is coaching at a big school, WE have our Friday nights back to spend together, at least unitl basketball season starts! So, what did we do on our first available night? We went to the football game! But this time, for the first time in 6 years, we went as a family. Usually I am the crazy lady dragging 2 kids across the parking lot, up into the stands, and back down to the concession stand (at least twice) all by myself. But this time I had a helper! Good thing too, because Trevor did NOT want to sit and watch the game. Ashley was impressed by the size of the stadium (compared to the one in Melissa it looks like Texas Stadium) but she was bummed that she wasn't down on the field with the cheerleaders. She did that at almost every game in Melissa and Jonathan assured her that he would arrange it for basketball season. Since I wasn't blogging back then, here are some pictures from last year:
